About The School

Practical orientation - Dr. med. dent. and Master of Science Field (MSc.) For the students of dentistry a special practically oriented course of studies is offered from the first semester by means of a "mentoring / coaching system". An experienced dentist functions as a supervisor from the praxis.

Due to the special organisation of their course (20 weeks per semester instead of 15 at state universities) dentistry students will not only receive their degree "Dr. med. dent." at the end of their course, which features an intensive block model with after care and strong practical orientation of the programmes pursuant to the legally required six years in Germany and Austria. Parallel to preparing their state examination they have the opportunity to obtain and acquire all requirements of (either) a „Master of Science "Orthodontics" (MSc)" or "Oral Surgery/Implantology (MSc.)" or "Aesthetical-Restorative Dentistry (MSc.)", during a full-time course with subsequent practical training.
Thereby, they will pass a Dental-Excellence-Study Programme and an additional specialisation in a field of studies.

Moreover, the department „Dentistry" offers practicing dentists an opportunity to study postgraduate courses leading to a Master of Science Aesthetic-Restorative Dentistry (MSc.) and to a Master of Science Function and Prosthodontics (MSc.).
